  Call us old fashioned, we will move our services to a Bank that has tellers that we can complete our super complicated transactions - like depositing cheques without an ATM card. Suncorp, you save yourself the cost of tellers but you lost a high value customer.

  My advice to Suncorp - shut the store and just put the ATMs outside. My take on it is that the staff have no authority to assist with financial transactions and are there as a sales office for financial services.

  I have been with Suncorp for 30 years. Recently, they decided to turn the Stafford branch into a sales office, removing the tellers and replacing them with overworked staff that can't help with much at all. They just refer you to speak to the faceless people at the end of a telephone line.

  We tried to deposit a cheque into our business account (no ATM card) and was told that the only way we could do it was via an ATM deposit. Why? Sure, we could get an ATM card but why make it hard. We rarely deal with cheques.

  Disgraceful "service" offered by one female staff member, she was extremely confrontational and rude when asked for assistance in operating the automatic money deposit machine!
